Somavaara Annadaanam Program

Vedas, Dharma shastras and Upanishads says “Annadaana paramdaanam nabhootho nabhavishyasi”. Serving food to the needy is a charity of high order and is incomparable to any charity. Taittariya Upanishad 2.2 talks greatly about the importance of Anna. Also, In Indian families “Annam parabrahma swaroopam” are the often-quoted words of the elders to the young.

Based on this holy idea, Parvati Parameshwara Devasthanam has started a permanent Annadanam Program every Monday after Shiva Abhishekam.

Every Monday, Devotees will be blessed with Abhisheka Teertham and Anna Prasadam after Shiva Abhishekam and Mangala Harati.

Parvati Parameshwara Temple requests all devotees to support this great Temple initiative and seek blessings of the divine couple.

Archana will be performed on Annadanam sponsors Gotranamas even if they are unable to attend the temple on the selected day.
